Multi-BRIT-nominated, double-platinum-selling South London artist Cat Burns cements her
position as one of the UKs most exciting singersongwriters with the announcement of her
eagerly-anticipated debut album, early twenties.

Set for release on 12th July, early twenties is a love letter to her community and explores the
complexities and emotions surrounding this era of adulthood. Filled with Cats honest and
diaristic storytelling, her upcoming debut album is a warm and relatable listen for Gen Z or
those nostalgic for their formative adult years.

Cat Burns represents and is leading the charge of young, Black British queer creatives cutting
through culture today. A three-time BRIT Award nominee and a BBC Sound Poll 2023
shortlist inductee, to name a few accolades under her belt, Cat propelled into the spotlight
in 2022 with her viral smash go, which peaked at 2 on the Official Singles Chart and earned
a double-platinum certification.

Cat has made her mark on stages on both sides of the pond, opening for global superstars Ed
Sheeran and Sam Smith on their respective headline tours. She wins over audiences with her
sublime live performances and has cultivated a solid fanbase in the process. Additionally, Cat
has made standout debut performances at Glastonbury and the Governors Ball in New York,
as well as appearances at BBC Radio 1s Big Weekend and TRNSMT Festival last Summer.
