Drew Portnoy (USA): German by Nature

After trading the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, USA for Berlin’s infamous nightlife, Drew Portnoy became a father to two German-American children. His award-winning comedy takes witty aim at his struggles with his biggest adversaries - Germany, his family and himself. Any ex-pat, as well as most Germans, can identify with his anecdotes - and his pain. He performs throughout Germany in the country’s native tongue and regularly appears in English throughout central Europe.

Steve Dix from Staffordshire has been performing all around Europe for the last 20 years. As well as performing comedy, he paints, makes models, sings and plays guitar, but not at the same time.

Host: Manuel Wolff (Ger)

The quick-witted comic is known for his dry observational humour, and surprising improvisational skills. This german performs stand up in English allaround the world, he was featured in the ‘Laughs in Translation’ documentary about Comedy and invited to hold a TED talk on humour.
