Wir alle werden auf die ein oder andere Art von unserer Umgebung beeinflusst.
Von der Gegend, in der wir aufwachsen, von den Ratschlägen der Menschen, denen wir vertrauen und von jedem Fehler, für den wir bezahlen mussten. Neueste Studien haben gezeigt, dass sogar Phänomene wie Psychopathie von einer bestimmten Art von Umgebung hervorgerufen werden. Wenn aber alles, was wir tun, von äußeren Umständen verursacht wird, wie kann dann irgendjemand für seine Taten verantwortlich gemacht werden? In einem nahtlosen Mix aus Tanz, Akrobatik und Live-Musik stellt "My Me" sich der Frage, wie wir Menschen von unserer Umgebung geformt werden - und den zahlreichen damit verbundenen moralischen Dilemmas.

We are all in some way shaped by our surroundings. By the area we grow up in, by advice we get from the people we trust, and by every mistakes we’v had to pay for. Our behaviour, and our decisions are shaped by the information we have received. Every sentence that has found its way to our eyes and eares, every previous attempt and their results, and everything we’ve witnessed other people do. Recent studies have shown that even things like Psychopathy is caused and sustained by a certain kind of environment, and a killer that was previously seen as pure evil, is suddenly just a victim of a bad childhood.But if everything we do is caused by our surrounding, how can anyone be held accountable for their own actions? How can we still sustain the idea of revenge? Don’t we have any free will or control over our lives? With a seamlessly integrated mix of dance, acrobatics and live music "My Me” creates a mesmerizing intimate universe, where we together face questions about how we as humans are shaped by our surroundings, and the many moral dilemmas that follow.
